Diving at sunrise is always when the ocean is most buzzing with life, it appears that this is true even of Sydney! Once you get past the 5am drowsiness and regret, there’s something super special about getting in the water at first light. There’s also plenty more wildlife to see!
So I’ve recently started getting into freediving, it’s been something i’ve been wanting to get good at for a long time now – and I’m pretty keen on giving it a fair crack! Luckily this site, Shelly Beach, Manly in Sydney, NSW, Australia isn’t to deep and it’s easy for a novice like me to practice my breath hold! In case you guys missed it, I’m the guy in the blue wetsuit in the film 😉 Huge thanks to Nays Baghai for the shots of me!
Wildlife spotted: Alright, we had loads of Port Jackson Sharks and Crested Horn Sharks, two Giant Cuttlefish who looked like they had just finished mating or were about to, few Eagle Rays and schooling fish! Pretty sick!
