This video is the third film in a mini series about scuba diving in the Sutherland Shire, in southern Sydney. Oak Park is located just around the corner from Cronulla and has a small population of resident turtles! I’ve dove this site probably around 10 – 15 times and have spotted turtles (there are 3 different turtles that frequent the area) on about 35 – 40% of my dives here. Which is more frequent than up on Great Barrier Reef! Insane hey! The site itself is super shallow and a perfect beginner dive, its loaded with cool corals and a ridiculous amount of fish! It’s easily one of Sydneys best dives! For maps and more detailed site information visit the ‘Visit the Sutherland Shire’s’ website.
